Yes, however, the Forest Service will charge a $10 entrance fee for the vehicle at the gate when you come through, no matter how long you are spending up there, the $10 fee will be charged.

Private vehicles may drop off passengers at the Maroon Lake Trailhead before 8:00 AM without a parking reservation.
Visitors who are dropped off during this time will need a One-way Return Only Shuttle Ticket to ride back down to the Maroon Bells Welcome Center, located at Aspen Highlands Ski Area between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Visitors may also be dropped off or picked up after 5:00 PM by a private vehicle. Passenger pick up and drop off is limited to a 30 minute waiting period, and the driver must stay with the vehicle.

Commercial drop-offs, including taxis, Ubers, and similar services, are not allowed at any time.

Mountain bikes can access the Maroon Creek Road to the trailhead parking area. However, mountain biking on the trail system within the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness Area is prohibited.
